What are you telling yourself? | Mission Blog

We talk to ourselves a lot. Probably more than we realize. Most of the time, we don't have to convince ourselves of much. Get up, get dressed, eat, go to work... Like rats in a maze, these become habit.
But when it comes to becoming a better person through nutrition and exercise, the voice has to become louder and more persistent. It's either going to say one thing, or the other. "Do it" "Don't do it" When we tell ourselves to GO FOR IT, we don't usually have to fill our heads with reasons why we should, but when we tell ourselves to skip the workout, WOW do these excises start flying in an attempt to convince ourselves that the choice we're making is ok. It's not ok... it's stealing your dreams and postponing your goals.
Let's make the RIGHT decision... listen to the voice that is correct: the one that doesn't have to prove to you that it's right, because you already know it. A fistful of excuses never built a muscle and never burned a calorie.
