Tada!

And now I introduce to you all my base recipe to what I call my breakfast every morning.........

 

The Super Green Smoothie: Greens, Fruit and Protein!

Ingredients

1 leaf Fresh BokChoy

2 leaves Fresh Mustard Greens

1 cup Fresh Spinach

1 Cactus Paddle (optional)

1/4 cup Fresh Ginger Root sliced

1/2 Avocado

1 tbsp Flax seed

1 tbsp Chia seed

1 Nectarine

1 slice of Cantaloupe

1 scoop BSN Strawberry Syntha6 Protein (or any other Protein brand, Vanilla/Chocolate flavor works too)

1 tbso Nutritional Yeast (optional)

6 oz Almond Vanilla Unsweetened Milk (add more if it is too thick)

Ice (optional)

 

Notes:

   1. Try to include 2 fresh fruit items, such as berries, bananas, peaches, watermelon, pears, apples, etc.

   2. Other greens you could use: Fresh Kale, Collard Greens, Turnip Greens. Try to include at least 3.

   3. Other items you can include/substitute for flax/chia seeds: Hemp seed/Oatmeal oats.

   4. You can add a dash of seasoning such as: Ground Cinnamon, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Cloves, and Ground Ginger instead of fresh.
